Our Story

By George began in 2020 with the belief that the most meaningful and compelling homes are shaped gradually, through building thoughtful layers over time, never rushed. We aim to make collecting approachable and provide inspiration for creating spaces that feel layered with intention, rich with character and well loved. 

We are drawn to pieces that tell a story, treasures shaped by quality craftmanship, history and beauty. Every piece we source is chosen not only for its aesthetic, but for how it can be used, loved and woven into daily life. The antique English box that becomes a place for small hands to tuck away treasures, the Moroccan inlay mirror that reflects years of birthdays, holidays and ordinary mornings, the brass trio of Giraffes that become the main characters in many imagined narratives. What was once forgotten and dusty on a shelf or packed away in storage is rescued to become meaningful again, to quietly become part of another family’s history.
